Following further examinations, Nicolas Lapierre will unfortunately miss his home GP2 race at Magny-Cours this weekend.
Whilst recovering well from the back injuries sustained during the Monaco race, Nicolas will make his return to the Arden cockpit at Hockenheim on 30 July, on his doctor's advice.
His place will once again be taken by Scuderia Toro Rosso's third driver, Neel Jani, who also substituted for the young Frenchman at Silverstone. Nicolas remains in joint 5th place in the Drivers Championship with Arden lying 2nd in the Team Championship.
Mick Cook commented: "It is obviously disappointing that Nicolas won't be able to race for us in Magny-Cours, however we are pleased he's recovering well and we will look forward to welcoming him back hopefully in Hockenheim. I am delighted to work with Neel in France where we finished 1st and 3rd with Heikki and Nicolas last year."
