Graham Rahal, the 17-year-old who won both rounds at the Cleveland Atlantic double-header at the weekend, will not now test for the DPR Direxiv GP2 team this week at Paul Ricard.
It was always going to be tight on timings due to Graham's races at Cleveland last weekend and then going to Indianapolis later this week," a DPR spokesperson told Pitpass, "and they called this morning to say they've been weather-bound in Atlanta. We've therefore deferred the test until another time.
"As Graham's come from winning two races this weekend, we also didn't want to put him under any undue pressure and risk lifting his focus before his next races.
As (team boss) David Price said, for Graham racing at Indy is a bit like us racing at the British GP. It's another race but it's just that bit more important..."
