A surprise visitor to Silverstone is Mika Hakkinen, who returns to England next month to take part in the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where six other Formula One World Champions are due to appear.
Speaking at Silverstone today, the double World Champion admitted that in his opinion Kimi Raikkonen should stay with the Woking outfit next season in spite of the arrival of Fernando Alonso.
"He is fantastic, very talented," Hakkinen said of his countryman, "he has really established himself."
When asked if he knew what Raikkonen's plans for 2007 are, the former McLaren star joked; "I know everything," before admitting that he is as in the dark as the rest of us.
"Personally," he admitted, "having talked to Kimi, I feel he should do what I did, I feel he should stay with McLaren."
Hakkinen revealed that is attending the Silverstone event in order to take part in a special photo-shoot for a forthcoming book on Formula One being promoted by Bernie Ecclestone. The photo-shoot, which will include all surviving World Champions should have taken place at Monaco but there were technical problems.
