NEWS STORY
Having enjoyed a golfing trip to the New Forest last week, when the Monaco Grand Prix Quiz failed to arrive, we presumed that Geoff (Zurich Gnome) Collins had spent a little too long at the 19th hole.
However, Mr Collins claims that the reason for its late arrival is because - wait for it - he forgot that Thursday was a bank holiday in Switzerland.
Yeh right Geoff, and the reason the Pitpass editor spent much of last Monday in the Coach & Horses was because it was New Year's Eve!
Anyway, the quiz has finally arrived, so lets get on with it.
Looking back to last year's race - and who can ever forget 'the quiff, the jaw and the helmet' (above) - Kimi won an exciting event. However, after 24 laps the safety car came out, and only one of the leaders didn't stop. Who was it? Also, which two cars tangled as a result of being 'unsighted'?
In 1993, the year of Ayrton Senna's last Monaco victory, Who raced with a badly bruised wrist sustained when he crashed heavily in free practice on Thursday and whose chance of victory went literally up in smoke whilst leading?
Finally, in 1978, who had brake problems and went off down the slip road? And, Lotus took two type 78s to the race and one of the new 79s, because the other 78s had already been sold to whom?
Think you know F1, think you know the Monaco GP?
