Having previously referred to the editor's age, Geoff Collins has taken one step more towards being granted a grandstand seat in that great 'Autodrome in the sky' by accompanying this week's quiz with a comment referring to food poisoning and football.
To think we previously thought that these were the depths to which only Mike Lawrence would sink...
Anyway, despite the bad taste left in our mouths, we'd better give you the Spanish GP Quiz, which looks back at the 2005, 1981 and 1969 events.
Last year, Kimi won fair and square from Alonso. He scorched off at the start but the safety car came out straight away because both cars from which team had failed to move from the grid? Also, who could possibly have ended up on the podium if it hadn't been for a pit stop where no fuel was taken on board?
Back in 1981, who won the race, and who made countless attempts to pass the eventual winner, but had to settle for second?
Finally, in 1969, How many cars started the race and whose rear wing broke causing him to have a big accident in which he hit his team mate's car, which had crashed at the same place, for the same reason, some 20 laps earlier?
Think you know F1, think you know the Spanish GP?
Do the quiz, test your knowledge...
