NEWS STORY
Just as we begin to like him, Geoff Collins spoils it all by making a snide comment regarding the editor's age. Therefore, as we have warned 'the gnome', the gloves are off. Watch this space.
In the meantime, in his European Grand Prix Quiz, Mr Collins (let's keep it formal from now on), looks back at 2005, 1985 and (ahem!) 1951.
Now we all remember how Kimi Raikkonen's race ended in tears last year, but who finished second and whose car didn't behave on the grid, forcing him to start from the pitlane?
And looking back to 1985, who spun at Surtees Bend, was hit by Piquet (who had to retire) continued with a puncture and still finished third? And which manufacturer supplied the most teams with engines?
Finally, in 1951, several years before the birth of our editor, how many of the cars racing were not built in France or Italy? And, where was the race held?
Think you know F1, think you know the European GP?
Do the quiz, test your knowledge..
