The World Cup of Motorsport is a nations sport with no drivers' championship. In line with A1 Grand Prix's Sporting Regulations, every A1 Team retains the right to add guest drivers or change their driver line-up between race weekends.
Up to three drivers per A1 Team may be signed on for each A1 event. These drivers must be nominated in writing on the Thursday afternoon before the race weekend. The choice of drivers for practice, qualifying or either race is at the discretion of the team principal. Only one driver per team per session is allowed.
