GP Masters, the series which pits Formula One legends such as Nigel Mansell, Emerson Fittipaldi, Rene Arnoux and Patrick Tambay against one another in purpose built 3.5 litre single-seaters, is on the verge of announcing further details of its plans for 2006.
Pitpass understands that one of the first announcements concerns the Silverstone event, scheduled to take place on August 13.
We hear that series organizers are planning a whole range of ticket packages, which are about to go on sale.
The packages, according to a source; "offer unrivalled in motorsport access for what is a weekend of A-list names - both on and off the race track". Furthermore, the tickets are to be offered at "nice prices".
Organizers will also give further details regarding the other 2006 races in addition to further info on testing, drivers, promotional events and competitions.
