Following Michael Schumacher's pole winning performance in Bahrain, rumours began to surface, suggesting that some rival teams were uneasy with the legality of the rear wing on the 248 F1, claiming that the wing appeared to deflect, in clear breach of the FIA's rules.
Despite the FIA's assurances that the wing was fully legal, the murmuring continued.
Speaking just hours after Sunday's race, Ferrari boss, Jean Todt, dismissed the rumours, and re-iterated that the wing is legal.
"It is good news when people start to be interested in Ferrari again," laughed the Frenchman. "It demonstrates that we are back at the top again.
"I am not aware of a problem," he continued, referring to the wing. "If the FIA comes to us and says there is a problem then our technical director Ross Brawn will come to me.
"But the FIA has no problem," he added.
