Super Aguri team boss, Aguri Suzuki, is unable to say when his team will have its own car available.
Originally it was, somewhat optimistically, claimed that the team would have its own car on the grid for the start of the European season, which kicks off at Imola next month. However, in recent weeks there has been continued media speculation that the car wouldn't appear until much later in the season.
Asked when the new car might appear, Suzuki said: "It's very difficult to say right now, because my team is very small, only 100 people.
"Now, starting the season, it's very difficult to get the new car developed. But now it's been started."
Asked about the level of support he is getting from Honda, he replied: "Honda have helped a lot: engine support and some electronic control systems and also engineers are helping my team."
The Japanese team is starting the season with the 2002 Arrows A23, having bought the designs, tubs and IPO rights to the car from Paul Stoddart.
