It would appear to be a case of 2-1 to Red Bull, as McLaren reveals that it has secured the services of Rob Taylor, head of vehicle design at the Austrian owned outfit.
With the Milton Keynes outfit having lured Adrian Newey and Peter Prodromou away, and Nicholas Tombazis heading back to Ferrari, there were fears that the 'brain drain' from Woking would have disastrous effects.
This morning however, a McLaren spokesperson confirmed to Pitpass that Taylor is on his way to Woking as a "Senior Design Team Leader", and "will report to Chief Designer Mike Coughlan".
Taylor's F1 career began at Coworth, he then spent time with Benetton, Ferrari, Arrows and Jaguar.
