According to reports, Kimi Raikkonen, after just one day, is unhappy with the Mercedes powerplant in the back of the MP4-21.
It's understood the Finn has said that the Mercedes engine is lacking and that a lot of work needs to be done.
It's unclear whether this will lead to reports of Anthony Davidson having a 'secret' seat fitting, only time will tell.
However, as to Raikkonen, this could simply be a case of sabre-rattling, the Finn making his position clear in the wake of the - previously thought to be his - team's signing of Fernando Alonso, or it could be that he is genuinely unimpressed with the new unit.
Either way, such open criticism will not go down well with his current employers nor indeed Ferrari, which (rightly) demands loyalty from its drivers in such matters. Despite the problems of 2005, Michael Schumacher rarely criticized his team, or Bridgestone, which is why he remains the favoured son.
If Kimi is eyeing a Maranello drive in 2007 he would be well advised to ease off on the public criticism of his current employers.
