With the FIA having accepted Super Aguri's entry in the 2006 Formula One World Championship, there is now the small matter of what chassis the Japanese team will run, which engines, drivers and tyres.
The fact that the self-built car will use the Honda V8 is a given, but there is still no official news on which engine will be fitted in the back of the Arrows chassis the team will start the season with, a spokesperson for the team telling Pitpass that; "this will be confirmed soon".
As for tyres, it looks likely that the team will use Bridgestones, though this too has yet to be confirmed.
Speaking to Pitpass, a Bridgestone spokesperson said: "We have received an official request to supply Super Aguri with Bridgestone F1 tyres and this approach was welcomed by us.
"We are currently in discussions," the spokesperson added.
