British company Hornby, has revealed an exclusive deal with the organizers of the A1 GP series.
Under its Scalextric brand, the company is to produce A1 GP racing sets.
"This exclusive global license with A1 Grand Prix is an excellent opportunity for Scalextric," said a spokesperson. "Given the global reach of this new, exciting motorsport format, it is rapidly gaining a very large following in many nations that are increasingly attracted to international motorsport."
The contract lasts until the end of 2008 and sales are expected to commence in mid-2006.
