After two great podiums for Neel Jani at the last round of the A1 Grand Prix series in Malaysia, A1 Team Switzerland moves to Dubai determined to claim its maiden victory in the sixth leg of the season this weekend.
A1 Team Switzerland is now a strong second in the championship after the strong Malaysian result This race will be Neel Jani's first time in Dubai: "I am very excited to go to Dubai. I don't know the track yet. It looks like an interesting and challenging circuit. I hope to be able to score a lot more points and to take our first win of the season, in this, the last race before the New Year. I don't know the city either. The Embassy and Consulate of Switzerland are preparing a couple of exciting visits for me. I'll also get the chance to check out the F1 powerboat two-seater, as the teams are racing next door!"
Max Welti, team principal, A1 Team Switzerland comments: "Neel Jani had a fantastic time in Malaysia. Here in Dubai the weather will be far more predictable than in Malaysia where there was always a risk of rain. It looks like Sheikh Maktoum has prepared a fantastic visit for us to his home round. Our results have been very strong and we'll have a good chance to take our first win this weekend."
