After another dominant performance in the Australian round of the A1 championship A1 Team France heads to Malaysia aiming to extend its dominant run of victories.

Alexandre Prémat will be back behind the wheel of the French car defending the France colours after Nicolas Lapierre took another double victory at the 'A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Eastern Creek, Sydney, Australia'. It was A1 Team France's sixth straight win of the season.

This weekend will be Alexandre Prémat's first time in Malaysia: "It looks like Sepang will be very demanding because of the high temperatures,” he said. “I have looked at the track and see there are a lot of high-speed
corners. Stability is therefore important, together with a good balance. Most of the corners are quick – at least three-quarters of them - so the G force will put a lot of strain on my neck and shoulder muscles. But I am feeling very fit and ready to race after my vacation."

"In Australia, we were pleased with the performance of the car,” he added. “We will do our best to perform well in front of our fans and the Malaysian public. We will stay near the airport and I'm pleased to have already spent a few days in Langkawi, after I arrived from the race in Australia. I am looking forward to seeing more of the country next year."

Jean-Paul Driot, team principal A1 Team France commented: "It looks easy to win consecutively, but it isn't. It takes a lot of concentration and a lot of precision. We will remain focused and not relax. Sepang is a very
challenging track, and also quite hard on the drivers physically. Nevertheless I'm confident we will perform well and hopefully we can extend our winning streak."
