British F3 National Class champion Salvador Duran will fly to Lisbon, this morning (from England), to participate in Round Three of A1 Grand Prix Nations Cup to be held at the 4.36 Km. Estoril racetrack, located in Portugal, scenario where the FIA Formula One used to race until mid 90s.

"I've been at the gym training for this race. I'm glad for the opportunity of being able to return to compete for my country with the A1 GP Team Mexico," Duran said, who could not participate in last race in Germany because it coincided with Formula Three British National Class season ending at Silverstone, in England.

"I've never raced in Estoril before and that's why I went last Saturday to drive a few laps around the Portuguese circuit. I was there just one day and I was only able to go around the track for about 50 minutes and that was on a street car. The most important thing is that at least I was able to know the track, which is narrow, slow, with very tight turns; second and third gear turns only, there's only one of four (the last one)," Telmex-backed driver said.

"Portugal is incredible, its weather, everything. This is one of the European countries that I like the most. The people are passionate. The people are like South Americans: very open, they help you in everything they can and Lisboan Airport is about 20 minutes from the track, so it suits us very well to go on Thursday, since practices begin on Friday morning," said Salvador.
