Pitpass can confirm that regular contributor, Stephen Simpson, will drive South Africa's entry in this weekend's A1 Grand Prix event at Brands Hatch.
"This is a proud moment for us and all fellow-South Africans," said Tokyo Sexwale, official seat holder for the South African team, following the announcement that Stephen will get his country's assault on the championship underway this weekend.
IRL racer Tomas Scheckter will drive the car in a number of events, but is taking part in the event at Watkins Glen this weekend.
Alan van der Merwe and Gavin Cronje have both tested the car, and are scheduled to represent their country at some stage during the season.
