Race stewards at Spa have adjudged Takuma Sato as being the guilty party in the clash with Michael Schumacher on the thirteenth lap of today's race. The incident happened shortly after the withdrawal of the safety car.
After hearing evidence from both drivers, and watching video replays, the stewards ruled that the Japanese driver had caused the collision and should consequently forfeit ten places on the grid at his next race.
The Japanese driver's F1 future is already in doubt, with Rubens Barrichello already signed to BAR for 2006, and Jenson Button still hoping to stay with the Brackley team.
