Following the Canadian team's non-appearance at the Silverstone and Paul Ricard tests, there has been speculation as to whether it will contest the inaugural series.
Pitpass can reveal that it has learned today that Team Canada "will definitely" contest the series, starting with the Brands Hatch event in two weeks.
The confirmation comes to Pitpass from a high level A1 GP source.
It's understood that two further teams (countries) are on the verge of being announced ahead of the Brands Hatch event.
