Following on from the victorious Phoenix in Magny-Cours, the sidepods of the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team's R25 race-cars have once again provided a lucky artist with a canvas for his designs ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend at Silverstone.
Celebrated Russian designers Sergey Kuzhavskiy and Stas Zhitskiy of Open! Design&Concepts have employed the traditional Japanese sumi-e calligraphy technique to adorn the R25 with their design of orchids. These have been conceived to symbolise the team's prestige, its tenacious spirit and grace in victory. The team will run with its new livery throughout the weekend.
