Jordan isn't giving much away, with regards it plans for drivers or indeed engines.
Talking to Portugal's Sportmotores.com, team boss Colin Kolles said that a decision regarding engines is about announced, but refused to give any hint as to whose power-plants will power the Midland F1 cars in 2006.
"We'll reveal our engine for next year in the next week," he said, adding; "and I can guarantee that it isn't a German engine.
"It's to soon to talk about drivers for next year," he continued, "so all the names being mentioned are just rumours."
"Referring to a rumour linking his team with Canadian driver Andrew Ranger, Kolles said: "We spoke with Andrew because he came to the team during the Canadian GP and introduced.
There has also been speculation over a role for Renault test driver, Franck Montagny, with the team, with various F1 insiders, including Bernie Ecclestone, keen to see a French driver competing in F1 again. However, despite the fact that Montagny drove Jordan's third car at the Nurburgring - which culminated in the team being barred from running a third car in Canada, due to a tyre irregularity - Kolles doesn't hold out much hope for the Frenchman finding a race seat with Jordan/Midland, assuming he wants one.
"It won't be easy to have Franck with us at French GP, but if he comes along it will be as third driver," said Kolles. "We are very happy with our drivers, mainly with Tiago who has done a great job in the last few races."
