We understand that an agreement has been reached which will see Indy 500 sensation, Danica Patrick, drive an F1 car this weekend.
Having reached agreement, we hear that the 23-year-old will complete a couple of demonstration laps in a BAR-Honda ahead of Sunday's big race.
In 2002, McLaren gave Indy Racing League driver, Sarah Fisher, a similar opportunity.
Since her exploits at Indianapolis, Patrick, who finished fourth, and made further history by being the first woman to lead the classic event, has taken American and motorsport by storm, with several teams, in addition to F1 supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, said to be keeping a keen eye of the young lady.
