Hot on the heels of Jaguar's 2004 Monaco publicity stunt, in which the Milton Keynes outfit managed to dominate the front pages of the world's newspapers, courtesy of a diamond that 'went missing' following a first lap crash involving Christian Klien, Red Bull looks set to introduce 'The Force' to F1.
We hear that Red Bull Racing, which is (ironically) the 'descendent' of Jaguar, has secured an advertising deal which will see David Coulthard and Tonio Liuzzi running liveries promoting the new Star Wars movie - Star Wars - Episode III - The Revenge of the Sith.
At a time when the sport is still attempting to come to grips with the scandal involving BAR, and a couple of litres of extra fuel, it remains to be seen how Max, and indeed rival team bosses, will react to Red Bull using 'The Force'.
It's understood that both Red Bull cars will feature a special Star Wars livery and that several of the much-anticipated movie's stars will attend the race.
In addition to its diamond stunt, Jaguar also pulled off a coup when it promoted the third of the Terminator movies, with Arnold Schwarzenegger attending the British GP. Subsequently, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and other stars of the movie Ocean's 12 attended the 2003 Monaco event.
Finally we hear that McLaren might be roped into some sort of special publicity stunt in Monaco, the Woking team having secured sponsorship from Steinmetz, the diamond people behind the 2004 Jaguar deal.
Maybe we'll see the Ron wearing a tiara on the podium.
