F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has said that the remaining teams would not be required to field a third car should BAR be excluded from the remainder of the 2005 Formula One World Championship.
Speaking to reporters following a promotional lunch in London for the French Grand Prix, Ecclestone said: "We would have to run it as it is. You can't suddenly make people run more cars. If they didn't enter the championship it would be a different story."
Ecclestone had earlier told reporters that in his opinion BAR was guilty, and that a fine wouldn't be punishment enough.
