David Coulthard, who is enjoying something of an Indian summer as far as his F1 career is concerned, with two solid, point-winning, performances in the Red Bull, believes that former teammate, and close friend, Jacques Villeneuve could be close to turning his back on F1.
In a regular column in the Scottish tabloid, the Daily Record, Coulthard writes: "Jacques is having a difficult time so far. Two races in and already the media are questioning if he will keep his seat.
"I know he is capable of great things," adds the Scot, "but unless we see a big improvement by Imola it wouldn't surprise me to see him walk away or be encouraged to."
