Months before Turkey is due to host its inaugural Grand Prix, the minister of tourism for Greece has revealed that his country is hoping to secure a slot on the World Championship calendar and has discovered a possible location for a track.
"There is a location in Viotia," Dimitris Avramopoulos told reporters today.
Like Turkey, Greece is fully aware of the benefits a Grand Prix would bring in terms of tourism. Viotia is around one hundred kilometres north of the Greek capital, Athens.
