A press release issued by Jordan at 11:40 on Monday 28 February, reads:
"Jordan's rookie F1 drivers Tiago Monteiro and Narain Karthikeyan visited Melbourne Zoo today, just hours after arriving in the country ahead of this weekend's 2005 Formula 1 Foster's Australian Grand Prix.
"They met a tree kangaroo, an inquisitive koala and giraffes."
Rumours that one of the koalas and the kangaroo have been signed for 2006 remain unconfirmed.
