Frank Williams predicts that his former driver, David Coulthard, and his new team, Red Bull, could be one of the big success stories of 2005.
Talking at a pre-season press lunch, the Englishman admitted that the Austrian outfit could spring a few surprises this season.
"The Red Bull car looks very good I'm told," said Williams, according to Reuters. "The car is quick, they're not to be laughed at. I just think they're going to bite a few arses.
"It's a very good car and Mateschitz and Marko are tough people and are clearly going to go for it," he added.
However, at a time when Scots driver Coulthard is normally talking up his chances, Williams refused to get carried away: "David's not in the same league as Michael," he said, "he never was, but he can do them the world of good. He's the right man in the right place."
Last Friday, Pitpass revealed that Red Bull will benefit from the latest Cosworth power-plant, which is currently one of the leading units in terms of power and reliability.
The Melbourne-spec CR6 is pushing 900 bhp and is regarded - according to one high-level source - as "bullet-proof", while a 930 bhp unit should be available by mid-season.
