Looking ahead to the next round of his battle with the banks - having lost the first round at the end of 2004 - Bernie Ecclestone has recruited a leading international law firm.
The F1 supremo has chosen Richards Butler to act on his behalf in his quest to hold off the power challenge from Bayerische Landesbank, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan Chase, which between them own 75% of F1.
Law firm Lovells, which acted for Ecclestone previously, will continue to assist with the action, which is due to resume in May, and should last for 10 days.
