The Minardi F1 Team has confirmed that its driver line-up for next week’s test at the Autodromo Santamonica, Misano, will consist of Christijan Albers, Chanock Nissany and Nicky Pastorelli.
Albers, who was recently signed as one of the team’s 2005 race drivers, will take part in all three days of the session (January 18-20), while Israel’s Nissany, who enjoyed his initial experience of Formula One performance when the team last tested at Misano, in November, will take the wheel on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.
Pastorelli is currently scheduled to drive on Tuesday afternoon. The young Dutch star won the 2004 Superfund Euro 3000 Championship, and the Misano session will mark his first time in a Formula One car.
All three men will use a Minardi Cosworth PS04B, the purpose of the test being to provide F1 familiarisation time for the drivers and to assess components destined for the Faenza squad’s 2005 car.
