The Court of Cologne today ruled in favour of former Team Manager Ange Pasquali against his previous employer, Toyota Motorsport GmbH, which operates the Panasonic Toyota Formula One Team from its factory based in Cologne.
The judgment determined that Mr. Pasquali had been unfairly dismissed from his position as Team Manager to the Toyota F1 Team and awarded a settlement.
When asked for his reaction Mr. Pasquali said: "I am of course very pleased with the outcome of the court case since the court could see that I was unfairly dismissed. This entirely justifies my position vis-à-vis the Team and all the personal effort and commitment which I contributed to it during my time there as Team Manager. I am now looking ahead and will be considering my options."
