According to a statement released by Red Bull Racing, the Milton Keynes based outfit has signed both Christian Klien and Vitantonio Liuzzi for 2005, alongside David Coulthard.
"The Red Bull Racing Team confirms today that Austrian Christian Klien, and Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi have both signed contracts with the team for 2005," read the statement. "Christian and Vitantonio, both members of the Red Bull Junior Team, have identical contracts enabling either to be race or test driver, with an option for additional years."
Due to the rule that prohibits drivers who have taken part in more than 6 Grands Prix in the previous two seasons, Klien, who drove for Jaguar last year, will be ineligible to drive the third car on Friday mornings, while Liuzzi, the reigning F3000 champion is free to do so.
The statement ended: "The second race driver will be confirmed before the start of the season in March in Melbourne, Australia, with all three drivers completing testing duties for the team in January and February."
