Despite claims that WilliamsF1 is holding a 'shoot-out' at Jerez today, in an effort to choose who will drive the second car, alongside Mark Webber, next year, the Grove outfit is keen to point out that it is nothing of the sort.
"Its not a shoot out," a spokesman told Pitpass, "just a continuation of a) a big testing workload to complete before the test ban and b) the ongoing evaluation of potential drivers.
"As Nick was in the car last week, it is simply another day of collecting info to inform that process," he added.
WilliamsF1 is one of several teams that will be in action tomorrow (Saturday), when the track will be artificially flooded to enable wet tyre testing.
A splash-out no doubt.
