It would seem that Anthony Davidson's test with WilliamsF1, which could have led to a full race seat next season, is in jeopardy.
Although neither BAR nor WilliamsF1 is willing, or indeed able, to say anything, it appears that there is still bad feeling in the air following the Buttongate saga.
It's understood that permission for Davidson to test the car has now been refused, though in all fairness, the problem would appear to be with Honda rather than BAR.
The English youngster was due to drive the FW26 at Jerez next month.
Should permission be withdrawn, this would almost certainly mean that the number two seat at WilliamsF12 would be a straight fight between Antonio Pizzonia and Nick Heidfeld.
