Following last week's wild claims that David Richards had been sacked by BAR, Pitpass was amongst the first to contact the Brackley outfit and thereby kill off the story before it got out of hand.
Pitpass is now happy to confirm that there is absolutely no truth in a new rumour about to hit the Internet - David Richards is not, repeat not, joining Jethro Tull.
The man seen with group founder Ian Anderson is Martin Barre not DR wearing an 'EJ'.
