Still clearly shell-shocked following the Contract Recognition Board's finding in favour of BAR, Jenson Button has admitted that he was badly advised in his contract dealings.
"The only reason I thought about moving teams was because I didn't think the contract was valid for next year," he told reporters at Interlagos today.
"I think I was advised slightly incorrectly," he added, in a masterpiece of understatement. "But it wasn't just one person it was a group of people, and the contract obviously does stand.
As previously reported, it's widely expected that once the Brazilian GP is out of the way, the young Englishman will begin the process to extricate himself from his current management contract with Essentially Sport.
