On the second day of testing at Jerez, WilliamsF1 test driver Antonio Pizzonia continued to set the pace.
Conditions on the second day of testing at Jerez were ideal, with blue skies and temperatures reaching a balmy 27 degrees C.
Once again, Pizzonia was the WilliamsF1 team's sole representative, as preparations for the 2004 Formula One World Championship season finale in Brazil continued.
The Brazilian carried out furthers tests on the brakes in addition to performing systems checks and completing tyre evaluations with Michelin.
Second quickest, albeit 0.875s off the pace, was Toyota's Ricardo Zonta, who will be racing at Interlagos next week. Ricardo was joined by F3 Euroseries racer Katsuyuki Hiranaka.
Franck Montagny was on duty for Renault, however today he was joined by Jacques Villeneuve, who got in some much needed time in the R24. The former world champion will continue here tomorrow, as the French outfit continues its Brazil preparations, and its last chance to snatch back the runner-up spot in the constructors' championship.
Alexander Wurz and Pedro de la Rosa were on duty for McLaren, while Bernoldi and Wirdheim represented BAR and Jaguar.
