Jaguar boss David Pitchforth has revealed that the team will wait to see the outcome of the Contract Recognition Board's decision regarding Jenson Button's contract for 2005 before deciding its own line-up.
With Mark Webber heading to WilliamsF1, where he might be joined by Button, Jaguar has two possible vacancies.
However, the annual game of driver 'musical chairs' is in a state of limbo until the CRB makes its decision at to whether BAR or WilliamsF1 has Button's services next season.
"I'm biding my time until we get 'Jensongate', or whatever it's called, sorted out," said Pitchforth. "There are quite a lot of drivers that we're talking to. Some of that does depend on how we get the budgets sorted out and divided up."
Of course, it's widely speculated that there won't be such a team as Jaguar next season, with Ford rumoured to be re-branding the Milton Keynes based outfit. A decision as to Jaguar's future is expected next week.
