Contrary to reports elsewhere, no decision has yet been made regarding Ralf Schumacher's participation in the French and British Grands Prix.
A spokesperson for the BMW WilliamsF1 Team this morning told pitpass that it is not down to the team to make the decision, which ultimately rests with the FIA and it's medical delegate, Professor Sid Watkins.
That said, it's possible that Ralf will miss at least one event and consequently both Marc Gene and Antonio Pizzonia are on stand-by.
Pitpass' own medical delegate, Dr Iain Corness, had previously warned that Schumacher should rest for at least six weeks.
