BAR team principal David Richards, was giving nothing away when asked the future of the tri-partnership with the Brackley outfit and Honda.
"Both are still having final discussions," said the Englishman. "The intention is that they've asked me to stay on for a longer period of time than my current agreement is and we're just discussing that at the moment.
"And Honda," he continued, "as they've obviously told you, are going to continue but, again, the terms of that will be announced by Honda themselves, not me.
"They're both under discussions," he added. "It's not an immediate issue, quite clearly, because my agreement doesn't come to an end until the end of 2006 anyway and the Honda situation is ongoing."
Honda has already revealed that it was having serious thoughts about its future in F1, until Jenson Button's podium finish in Malaysia.
