If you're heading to Silverstone this weekend and desire a little early sustenance - something other than burgers, hots dogs or chicken – something tasty and filling to get your day off to the perfect start, you could do a lot worse than taking a little detour on to the A5 and seeking out the wonderful Super Sausage.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the best, albeit highly tenuous, link we can come up with in terms of Gurmit's latest... his subject being Christian Horner's call on the sport's powers-that-be to get Ross Brawn on board.

"Love the idea of Ross Brawn coming in and sorting everything out," wrote Gurmit in his accompanying email. "Can never pass up the chance to draw him!"

And while it is unlikely the F1 veteran would want to give up fishing for such a poisoned chalice, we're happy to see him again.
