2007 world champion, Kimi Raikkonen, says he has not yet decided on his plans for 2011, admitting that it could be much later this year before he makes a decision.

The Finn left F1 at the end of 2009, partly due to the fact that most of the (seemingly) good drives had already gone and partly due to the fact that he had become disillusioned with the sport.

Following a difficult start to his World Rally Championship career, the Finn is clearly improving, however, he doesn't entirely rule out a return to F1.

"It has not turned in any direction," he told Finland's Turun Sanomat when asked if he favoured sticking with the WRC now that he is making progress. "There is no rush for me to make decisions. We'll have to see what are the possibilities and what for me is the most interesting, what I enjoy the most and what it is I most want to do."

Like many of us, the Finn appears to hanker for the 'good old days' when F1 was less commercial, less high-profile and more about racing.

"If F1 could go back 20 years, it would be the same as rallying now," he said. "It is still professional but in just a bit more of a relaxed style," he added, referring to rallying.

Currently driving for the Red Bull sponsored Citroen Junior Team, it has been widely speculated that should the Finn opt to return to F1 a berth would await him at the Austrian energy drink company's Milton Keynes based outfit.
