Speaking at the Formula One Teams' Association press conference in Geneva today, President Luca di Montezemolo admitted that the teams and manufacturers almost ready to sign the new Concorde Agreement, indeed, it could even happen before the new season gets underway.

"All the teams and car manufacturers are prepared to commit to enter in the new Concorde Agreement until the end of 2012," said the Italian, adding: We hope and we think that we can be in a condition to sign the Concorde Agreement before the start of the season."

Having revealed FOTA's roadmap, proposals related to all aspects of Formula One, di Montezemolo is confident that the sport can flourish despite the global financial crisis.

"The crisis represents a huge opportunity to improve Formula One, in terms of cost, competition and to really look ahead," he said.
