A1 Team Switzerland heads to Brands Hatch this weekend for the final race of the season. Team principal Max Welti is confident that his fast young drivers, rookie
Marcel Fässler and Sebastien Buemi will be fighting at the front all weekend.

The race at Brands Hatch is the last of the second A1 season running from September to April and visiting five continents ¬ North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

A1 Team Switzerland's drivers Sebastien Buemi and Marcel Fässler are both in confident mood after the team's last race in Shanghai where Buemi scored seven points.

Sebastien Buemi says: I have just taken two podiums this weekend in the F3 championship in Germany. I am top of my form and already know part of the Brands Hatch circuit as I've raced on a shorter version before. I only have another four corners to learn in real terms. The race this weekend will be good training for me next time I'm here in three months. After Shanghai, my objective is a podium to end the season and climb back up the championship standings."

Max Welti, team principal, A1 Team Switzerland comments: "Switzerland's fast driver pairing of Buemi and Fässler will represent our country in this last race of the season. The challenge is to match the opening race from last year on this track and to achieve the best possible result to improve our classification. Switzerland has earned 50 points this season. We should do well in Brands Hatch and be able to pass Holland and Malaysia in the standings keep your eyes on A1 Team Switzerland!"
