Webber unhappy with RB3 seat

NEWS STORY
22/02/2007

Ahead of two major pre-season tests in Bahrain, Red Bull driver Mark Webber has revealed that he in uncomfortable in his new car and consequently the team has had to provide a new seat.

"Both David (Coulthard) and I had a bit to say when we first drove the car," the Australian told Melbourne's Herald Sun newspaper. "I would definitely like to be more comfortable. I would not have liked to race the way the seat was."

Referring to the new seat, which he will try in Bahrain, Webber said: "The changes came from driver feedback and Adrian watching the car on track. It seems a lot better now. We've done a new seat and flattened things to get me into the car better.

We're trying to get me comfortable," he added, "the car is pretty tight in places."

Webber, at 1.85m, is not the tallest driver on the 2007 grid, that 'honour' lies with Alexander Wurz at 1.87m. Robert Kubica is the third tallest driver, ahead of Adrian Sutil and Coulthard. Shortest, at 1.63m is Takuma Sato.
