A very sad day for Formula One

There is talk of Bernie Ecclestone commissioning a dedicated PR service for Formula One.

How is it that a multi-billion pound business, a sport which travels to almost all the continents and boasts a global viewing audience of billions, which is referred to as the pinnacle of motorsport and the most glamorous sport on earth... needs PR?

If Formula One really is as good as they keep telling us it is, why on earth would it need to improve its public image?
