Following his team's win at Shanghai, which secured the 2005 Constructors' Championship, Team President, Patrick Faure, congratulated his troops on a job well done - and an historic first for Renault: two 100% Renault world titles!

Mr Faure, what are your feelings after this win…?
Patrick Faure: There's nothing more to say. This was a perfect weekend for us. It was a race full of incidents, and an emotional rollercoaster. Fernando won the first part, saw his lead wiped out, won the second and had it happen again, then still had what it took to win. It was a great performance from the whole team, nothing could stop us from winning this weekend.

It is not just about the people at the circuit though - what can you say to the team's supporters, within and without Renault?
PF: Well, we know this is their win as well - they have supported us in so many ways, from their enthusiasm in front of their televisions to concrete technical contributions. Also, I want to thank all of our partners. Without them, we could not have experienced this joyous moment, that rewards all of our hard work together.

What are your thoughts on the season?
PF: I think it has been a perfect season. I would like to congratulate the whole team, and particularly Flavio who has guided them like a master. Now, we need to work hard on repeating the achievement!

Meanwhile, Renault F1 Managing Director, Flavio Briatore, shared his thoughts

Flavio, what did you feel after the win…
Flavio Briatore: This was a great victory for Renault. We dominated the race, and did the right job, at the right time. That is why we are world champions.

You have said the constructors' championship meant less to you than the drivers' crown. Do you still agree?
FB: For us, the drivers' championship was the priority. But after we managed that well, and won it, then people started to build up the constructors' championship as the most important, saying that if we didn't win it, we would have failed this season. So I am happy we have won both, because we have done the job this year.

A word about your drivers…
FB: People criticised Giancarlo last weekend, but not us in the team. We stand together and today, he did a fantastic job. Fernando was superb. For me, this is not just a Renault team, it's a dream team.
