Test Notes: Barcelona 25-11 (Renault)

NEWS STORY
25/11/2004

Day two of winter testing saw the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team completed nearly five hundred kilometres of running at the Circuit de Catalunya. Giancarlo Fisichella continued settling in to the team while Franck Montagny conducted electronic systems development for 2005.

At the conclusion of the day's running, Chief Test Engineer Christian Silk commented: "Giancarlo had a productive day, completing plenty of laps as he continues to settle in to the team. We made good progress in adapting the set-up to his driving style, and he has also developed his understanding of the car during the day. This initial set-up work was followed by a large tyre development programme in the afternoon.

"Franck's mileage was unfortunately limited by the nature of his programme, but he continued important electronic systems work for next season."
