Referring to recent reports that he is considering returning to F1, double world champion, Mika Hakkinen told YLE, a Finnish national broadcasting company; "There's no smoke without a fire."

The Finn admitted that he is talking to a couple of F1 teams, though he refused to name them.

Interestingly, BAR boss David Richards, who spent all day Friday, and most of the evening, locked in meeting with lawyers and various other advisers as he attempts to sort out the Jenson Button affair, is now in Finland attending the 1000 Lakes Rally, a round of the World Rally Championship.

The Finnish media suggests that Richards and Hakkinen will meet up at the event.

"At this moment I do not want to comment more on the issue," said Hakkinen, "especially as discussions around the BAR team are so hot."
